Economic self-sufficiency for women is one goal of our work with global partners in Myanmar

economic-development

For every dollar a woman earns she puts 80 cents back into her family (on average, men give 30 cents).1 When women have the opportunity to change their own economic status, it improves their families, communities, and countries in which they live.2

GW's Response: Provide skills training to women to increase their ability to improve their economic situation.

Global Partners: Haiti, Central Asia, Myanmar, Uganda, Romania, Cuba
